Command and control ships and two types of recovery ships have started construction successively, and various participating units have formed special teams to accelerate the progress. It is expected to be delivered and put into use before the end of 2026. Among them, the command and control ship is constructed by Jiangxi Jiangxin Shipyard, responsible for the command and dispatch, remote control and other tasks of rocket sea recovery; The two types of recycling ships are built by Jiangsu Runyang Shipbuilding Industry. The self-propelled type is designed with a single steel straight through deck, while the non self-propelled type is designed with a double deck deck of all steel welded hybrid skeleton and can be towed. They are both equipped with a DP-2 power positioning system and have unmanned remote control and high-precision comprehensive positioning capabilities. The recycling system also includes recycling measurement and control, communication, meteorology, and post-processing systems. Hainan Commercial Development aims to create a public service platform for commercial rocket sea recovery. After the system is completed, it will achieve a closed-loop launch recovery capability at the launch site, effectively promoting the vigorous development of the commercial aerospace industry in Hainan Free Trade Port.
