[Shangqiu Airport starts construction] On the morning of November 17th, the groundbreaking ceremony of Shangqiu Airport was held grandly. This airport is clearly planned for military civilian use, with a flight zone level set at 4C standard. The overall investment scale of the project is about 800 million yuan, and the construction plan is rich and comprehensive. We will carefully build an apron with 8 stands, equipped with 3 boarding bridges, and construct a terminal building with an area of 9000 square meters. In addition, a runway with a length of 2600 meters and a width of 50 meters will be renovated and expanded, and supporting facilities such as taxiway system and apron will be improved. In terms of design goals, it is expected that by 2030, the airport's passenger throughput will reach 900000 and cargo and mail throughput will reach 3600 tons; By 2050, the passenger throughput will climb to 2.8 million and the cargo and mail throughput will reach 7800 tons.
