[Hubei 100MW wind power project confirms 16 6.25MW wind turbines] Recently, a 100MW wind power project in Hubei Province has been officially approved, marking another milestone in the clean energy layout of the region! The project plans to deploy 16 6.25MW large capacity wind turbines, which will have the core advantages of high single unit power and excellent power generation efficiency. After completion, the annual on grid electricity capacity can reach over 220 million kilowatt hours. Based on an annual electricity consumption of 500 kilowatt hours per household, the project can meet the clean electricity needs of approximately 440000 households annually, while reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 180000 tons, equivalent to planting nearly 500 hectares of trees and forests. It has both environmental benefits and energy supply value. From the perspective of the industry, the project will directly drive the development of related industries such as wind turbine installation, civil construction, and operation and maintenance services in the local area, create a large number of job opportunities, and better rely on the advantages of the Hubei regional energy hub to improve the green power transmission network in Central China, providing solid support for the implementation of the "dual carbon" goal in the central region. At present, the project has entered the preliminary preparation stage, and the construction will be accelerated in the future.
