[Partial reconstruction project of Guangxi Provincial Highway 209 starts] Recently, the reconstruction project of the Shuiming Longcheng Village section of Guangxi Provincial Highway 209 has officially started, and the main project is expected to be completed before the Spring Festival. The project starts near Shuiming Town, Bobai County, Yulin City and ends near Longcheng Village, Fengshan Town, with a total length of 31.877 kilometers. This renovation will be carried out for multiple road sections along the route, including roadbed widening (some road sections will widen the roadbed width from 12 meters to 13.5 meters, while others will remain at 12 meters and be repaired), pavement and shoulder repair (excavating unhardened soil shoulders, adding new structural layers, and specially treating the main pavement with defects), slope and drainage system improvement (comprehensively treating slopes with risks, resetting occupied side ditches, renovating and reinforcing drainage facilities in poorly drained sections), and improving traffic safety facilities (synchronously improving road alignment and intersection conditions, setting shoulder walls or shoulder walls on the filling side to ensure roadbed safety and stability, facilitating construction, and avoiding new land use), fundamentally improving road durability and driving quality.
