[The Hefei Fuzhou high-speed railway tunnel will achieve full 5G coverage] The public network coverage 5G renovation project of Hefei Fuzhou High speed Railway (Fujian section) has officially started construction in the early morning of November 19, 2025. The project is designed by China Railway Fourth Survey and Design Institute and jointly funded by three major operators organized by China Tower Company. The first phase is launched in the Lingtouting Tunnel between Gutian North and Minqing North. The project will comprehensively upgrade the public network coverage system of 88 tunnels opened in Fujian Province in 2015 for the Hefei Fuzhou high-speed railway, including equipment installation and replacement, optical cable laying, and phase change expansion. It is planned to be completed before November 30, 2026. As the first high-speed railway line in Fujian Province with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour, Hefei Fuzhou High speed Railway is entering a new stage of integrated development of "high-speed rail+5G" with the strong support of Nanchang Bureau Group.
