[The Yongzhou South 500 kV transmission and transformation project has started construction] The 500 kV transmission and transformation project in Yongzhou South, Hunan has officially started construction in Jianghua Yao Autonomous County recently. The total investment of this project is 840 million yuan, and it is planned to complete an investment of 530 million yuan by 2026. It will build a new 500 kV substation and supporting line project, including the installation of 2 sets of main transformers, the construction of 2 sets of 500 kV outgoing lines to Zixia substation, 4 sets of 220 kV outgoing lines, and the simultaneous construction of two 500 kV lines with a total length of about 100 kilometers. After completion, the project will become an important node of the 500 kV backbone network in Hunan, significantly enhancing the power supply capacity of the southern and surrounding areas of Yongzhou, optimizing the power grid structure, breaking through transmission bottlenecks, and providing support for the integration and consumption of new energy into the grid, helping the province's energy green transformation.
