[Mingyue Lake Future Transportation Project launches construction] Recently, the Future Transportation R&D Center and Industrial Revitalization Base project invested and constructed by China Merchants Chongqing Transportation Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. started construction at Mingyue Lake. This project is a key project of Chongqing Liangjiang Investment Group to deepen the coordination between the central and local governments. It is located in the Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone, with a planned total investment of approximately 560 million yuan and will be implemented in two phases. The National Key Laboratory for Safety and Resilience of Bridge Engineering will be established in the first phase, and multiple research and development centers will be planned in the second phase. The Quanzhong Laboratory focuses on the common issues of transportation infrastructure safety and resilience for research. After the project is completed, it will become the most comprehensive experimental capability in China and an internationally advanced laboratory, providing a model for central local cooperation and promoting high-quality regional economic development through research and development.
