[Gansu Province invests 688 billion yuan to build a high-speed network] Breakthroughs have been made in the construction of the three major highways in Gansu and the Ganchuan New Corridor. 28 projects have started construction, with a total length of 2868 kilometers and a total investment of 267.3 billion yuan. The project includes 66 projects with a total scale of 5430 kilometers and a total investment of approximately 688 billion yuan. It will cover 59 counties and districts in 14 cities and prefectures across the province, benefiting 17 million people. The project fully implements a market-oriented franchise model and has introduced dozens of central enterprises and leading enterprises to participate. Through measures such as delegating approval authority and optimizing processes, the project has been comprehensively accelerated. It is expected that by the end of the 15th Five Year Plan period, the province will achieve a new pattern of high-speed road network with provincial capital connectivity and county county connectivity, effectively promoting high-quality regional development.
