[The Datang Toumen Port Power Plant project has been fully launched] Datang Haitou recently officially launched the construction of the Toumen Port Power Plant project in Taizhou Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhejiang Province. The first phase of the project has an investment of 5.4 billion yuan and plans to construct two 660MW ultra supercritical high-efficiency coal-fired units. It is expected to achieve an annual grid connected electricity of 7 billion kilowatt hours and provide external heating after being put into operation in 2027. The project site is located adjacent to the new materials industrial park and industrial park, with both location advantages and space for phase two expansion. The power plant strictly adheres to the dual carbon target and will construct a carbon capture system that can capture 50000 tons of carbon dioxide annually. It will also explore the resource utilization of carbon dioxide in chemical, pharmaceutical and other fields. In addition, the project will provide various types of comprehensive energy services such as heating and gas supply for surrounding industrial parks, and support the construction of a 500MW offshore wind power project. It is committed to building a clean and efficient energy demonstration platform that integrates power generation, heating, and carbon cycling, providing strong impetus for regional industrial upgrading and energy structure transformation.
