[Hunan Green Heart Ecological Greenway Project starts construction] On December 10, 2025, the Changsha Zhuzhou Xiangtan Green Heart Ecological Greenway project officially started construction. The project is located in the ecological green heart area at the junction of Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan cities. It is a 92.8-kilometer circular greenway that connects key areas such as the Flower and Horticultural Expo Park and Shiyan Lake through forest transformation, ecological restoration, and environmental improvement. It aims to create a unique IP of mountain full marathon and hundred mile gallery, and build influential urban scenic roads, health roads, wealth roads, and happiness roads. It also plans leisure self driving routes, cycling jogging routes, and mountain climbing routes to meet different needs. Under the deployment and arrangement of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, various departments directly under the provincial government have worked together with the cities of Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan to promote the project.
