[New Engine of Central Asian Industry: Almaty Oblast invests 247 million yuan in 15 parks]As a key hub of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, Almaty, Kazakhstan, has invested 247 million US dollars to build 15 industrial parks to activate the new industrial momentum in Central Asia. The park focuses on core areas such as food processing, machinery manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and new energy, relying on 30% of the national non-ferrous metal reserves and 70% of the renewable energy potential within the state to build a diversified industrial cluster. The policy dividend continues to increase, and enterprises can enjoy up to 10 years of tax exemptions, zero tariffs on imported equipment, and land subsidies. Combined with "one-stop" approval services, the investment threshold is significantly reduced. With the advantage of connecting Europe and Asia, the transportation cost of goods from the park to Europe has been reduced by 15% -20%, radiating to a market of 140 million people. After the completion of the project, it will create a massive number of job opportunities, promote Kazakhstan's transformation from a resource-based economy to a high value-added industry, and become a strategic pivot for Chinese enterprises to layout in Central Asia and connect Europe and Asia.Editor/Bian Wenjun
