[China Power Construction wins bid for Singapore's largest floating photovoltaic project]The morning sun shines on the peaceful surface of the Kranji Reservoir in Singapore, shimmering in the waves as an important project carrying a green vision is poised to take off. Recently, China Power Construction Group and Shengke Singapore Solar Private Limited officially signed the EPC general contract for the Kranji Reservoir Floating Photovoltaic Project in Singapore. This is not only the beginning of a project, but also marks a new stage of cooperation between China and Singapore in the field of clean energy.
As the largest floating solar project in Singapore to date, the Kranji Reservoir Floating Photovoltaic Project will be located in the northern and central regions of the reservoir. China Power Construction Corporation will be responsible for the full process EPC general contracting work of the project from design, procurement to construction, with an installed capacity of 150 megawatts. According to the plan, the project will officially start construction in the first half of 2027 and be put into operation in stages, injecting considerable green electricity into Singapore's local power grid in the future.
