[Announcement of EPC Candidates for Altay Grid Energy Storage Project in Xinjiang] On December 10, 2025, the EPC bidding candidates for the second phase of the centralized shared energy storage power station construction project (300MW/1200MWh) in Burqin County, Xinjiang were announced. China Power Construction Group Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., China Gezhouba Group Electric Power Co., Ltd., and China Power Construction Group Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd. are among the top three. This project is a large-scale grid type energy storage power station on the power grid side, using lithium iron phosphate battery technology. It plans to construct 120 energy storage subunits and supporting 220kV boosting stations, which play a key role in improving the stability of the power grid and the new energy consumption capacity in northwest China.
