[EPC bid opening for China Power Construction's 40MW Agricultural Photovoltaic]As the construction of photovoltaic projects enters a critical stage at the end of the year, a 40MW agricultural photovoltaic complementary photovoltaic project located in Yunhe County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, has made significant progress. Recently, Power Construction New Energy Company, a subsidiary of China Electric Power Construction Corporation, officially announced the list of candidates for the EPC general contracting of this clean energy project, marking the start of substantive construction.
According to the announcement released on December 11, 2025, a total of three candidates have been shortlisted for the final competition for the EPC general contracting of this project. This bidding is calculated based on a DC side capacity of 52.01 MWp, with a unit price range between 1.732 yuan and 1.750 yuan per watt, which reflects the current competitive situation in the photovoltaic construction market.
The project is located in Shitang Town, Yunhe County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province. It adopts the agricultural photovoltaic complementary mode, with a planned installed capacity of 52.01 MWp on the DC side and a rated capacity of 40 MW on the AC side. The project is scheduled to officially start construction on December 25, 2025, and on-site construction will begin on December 30. All photovoltaic arrays are planned to achieve grid connected power generation before September 30, 2026. The overall project is expected to be completed and accepted on October 30, 2026. This compact construction schedule demonstrates the goal of efficiently advancing the project and achieving power generation benefits as soon as possible.
From an industry perspective, the bidding unit price announced this time is 1.732-1.750 yuan per watt, providing a new price reference for the photovoltaic EPC market. Against the backdrop of the sustained development of the photovoltaic industry, this price range reflects China's current level of cost control and market competition in projects such as agricultural photovoltaic complementarity, and has reference significance for the investment and construction of similar projects in the industry in the future. On April 3, 2026, the domestically developed maximum diameter 13.2-meter hard rock TBM by CCCC Tianhe started construction in Changshu. The machine is equipped with 7600 domestically produced rare earth special steel main bearings developed by the Institute of Metals, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with a rated life of over 15000 hours and performance exceeding imports. This move marks China Communications Construction Corporation's first achievement of 100% localization of core components for ultra large diameter tunneling machines, completely bridging the last mile of national production of major underground engineering equipment in China.Editor/Cheng Liting
At the Export to China SCO Choice Forum, Kazakh companies signed a $125 million agricultural export agreement with Chinese partners. Changsha Kaliev, the Minister of Trade of Kazakhstan, led a delegation to visit Shandong to deepen industrial and logistics cooperation. As the largest trading partner, the bilateral trade volume between China and Kazakhstan is expected to increase from 41 billion US dollars in 2023 to 48.7 billion US dollars in 2025, with Shandong's trade volume reaching 2.2 billion US dollars. Both sides are shifting from scale expansion to quality and efficiency improvement, with a focus on promoting the export of high value-added, non resource, and green technology products to ensure supply chain stability.Editor/Cheng Liting
