[Huadian Dandong Donggang Phase III 500000 kW project approved] Recently, the Ocean and Fisheries Bureau of Donggang City, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, released the sea use demonstration report for the 500000 kW offshore wind power project of Liaoning Huadian Dandong Donggang Phase III, marking significant progress in this large-scale clean energy project with a total investment of approximately 5.211 billion yuan. According to the public announcement, the project is located in the southern waters of Donggang City, Liaoning Province, with an offshore distance of about 50 kilometers and a water depth ranging from 35 meters to 43 meters. The total installed capacity of the project is 500000 kilowatts, with a planned deployment of 42 wind turbines, including 38 units with a single capacity of 12 megawatts and 4 units with a capacity of 11 megawatts. All wind turbines will be collected through six 66 kV collection lines to the planned offshore converter station. The total sea area of the project is about 357 hectares, and the application period for sea use is 27 years. The expected construction period is 12 months. The project will adopt a single pile foundation structure, with submarine cables arranged in a chain topology, and each circuit connecting 7 wind turbines to optimize the line structure. As an important offshore wind power project in Northeast China, the construction of this project will further enhance the clean energy supply capacity of Liaoning Province, and has positive significance for optimizing the regional energy structure and promoting green development.
