[Qiannan in Guizhou Aims for Over 1.3GW/2.6GWh of Grid-Connected Energy Storage by 2027] On December 22, 2025, the Office of the People's Government of Qiannan Prefecture officially issued the "Implementation Plan for High Quality Development of Energy Industry in Qiannan Prefecture (2025-2027)". The plan clearly proposes to actively expand the scale of new energy storage, combine the development needs of new energy with the power grid's consumption capacity, accelerate the implementation of a batch of energy storage projects, coordinate the development of energy storage resources throughout the state, and strengthen cooperation with surrounding areas and advantageous enterprises. By 2027, the cumulative installed capacity of grid connected energy storage in the whole state will exceed 1.3 million kilowatts/2.6 million kilowatt hours, in order to enhance the supply guarantee and regulation and consumption capacity of the power system.
