On February 19, 2025, His Excellency Salem Butti Al Qubaisi, Director General of the United Arab Emirates National Space Agency, met with CANGYU SPACE co-founder and Executive Vice President Liu Hanchao and his delegation in Abu Dhabi.

After listening to the introduction of CANGYU SPACE's space business plan in the United Arab Emirates, His Excellency Al Qubaisi stated that the two countries have signed a series of memorandums of understanding on cooperation, and we hope to see more commercial space cooperation between the two countries. The United Arab Emirates is committed to enhancing its space capabilities and has formulated ambitious space development plans, including the construction of multiple remote sensing, communication, and other constellations. These match the core business of CANGYU SPACE. The space agency provides full support for CANGYU SPACE's business operations in the United Arab Emirates.

Liu Hanchao expressed sincere gratitude for the meeting with His Excellency Al Qubaisi amidst his busy schedule, and expressed his desire to carry out space-based measurement and control and data relay services in the United Arab Emirates. Through cooperation with UAE aerospace companies, he aims to provide better and more efficient services to customers in the Middle East region.
