[The construction project of Longnan General Airport has officially started] On December 21, 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction project of Longnan General Airport was held. The project is located 3 kilometers northeast of Lintang Township in Longnan City, 12 kilometers away from the city center. It is situated in the core of the industrial cooperation demonstration zone on the border of Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces, adjacent to two major industrial parks, with a superior location. As a key project in the "General Airport Layout Plan of Jiangxi Province", it is not only a livelihood project in Longnan, but also a pivot for the revitalization of the Gannan Soviet Area. The project is constructed according to A1 level standards and 2B flight zone level, with a total investment of 397 million yuan, covering an area of 593 acres, and a period of two years.
