[Argentina receives $300 million investment] The International Finance Corporation announced a strategic investment worth $300 million to Central Puerto S.A., an Argentine power generation company. The funds will be used to acquire shares in the 1440 MW Piedra del Á guila hydroelectric power station, which will be awarded as part of the privatization of the Limay River hydroelectric project in December 2025 and plays a critical role in stabilizing the Argentine national power grid.
