The consortium consisting of Zhongshui North, China Hydropower Fourth Bureau, and Qinghai Provincial Water Resources Institute ranked first among the winning bidders with a bid of approximately 731 million yuan. The project is located in Golmud, Qinghai and is a key project for the integration of national water network backbone engineering and clean energy development. The total installed capacity is 600MW and the planned construction period is 18 months.
