[The wave of lithium battery capacity expansion continues] At the beginning of 2026, the production capacity of lithium iron phosphate materials and batteries will continue to expand. Fulin Precision's subsidiary plans to invest 6 billion yuan in Inner Mongolia to build a high-end lithium iron phosphate project with an annual output of 500000 tons. Wanhua Chemical has established a new energy materials company with a registered capital of 740 million yuan in Laizhou, Shandong, to serve its huge plan of producing 650000 tons of lithium iron phosphate annually. A project with an annual output of 400000 tons of lithium iron phosphate cathode material in Leshan, Sichuan has also entered the stage of environmental impact assessment and public announcement. At the same time, emerging technology routes are accelerating their implementation. The world's first 10000 ton sodium iron sulfate positive electrode material base in Meishan, Sichuan has been put into operation, the 280000 ton lithium hexafluorophosphate technological transformation project in Chizhou, Anhui has been promoted, and the 20000 ton silicon carbon negative electrode project has been signed in Inner Mongolia. In addition, Hubei Chuneng New Energy signed an order to export 6GWh energy storage products to Egypt.Editor/Gao Xue
