[Beijing Fengtai 500kV project starts] On January 28, 2026, the Beijing Fengtai 500 kV power transmission and transformation project was started, which is the first new 500 kV power grid project in Beijing in the 15th five year plan and one of the "three 100" key projects in 2026. The project will enhance the resilience of the southern Beijing power grid, provide power support for high-tech industries, and open a new channel for green power transmission. During the construction, the green concept is practiced, a number of new technologies are applied innovatively, and the whole process chain collaborative management and mechanized intelligent construction technology are adopted.
