[China Telecom's Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area data center starts construction] On February 24, 2026, the second phase of China Telecom's Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area data center project began construction in Shaoguan. The total investment of the project is 18 billion yuan. In this phase, one intelligent computing center and two parallel machine buildings will be constructed, with an IT capacity of 68MW. The PUE of the project is less than 1.20, and energy-saving technologies such as liquid cooling and heat dissipation will be integrated to create a national data transmission core node and Tianyi Cloud South China computing power hub, providing full stack data center services for the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.Editor/Gao Xue
