[The Shanghai Suzhou Wuxi Changzhou intercity project has started construction] On March 10, 2026, the SG6-1 section of the Taicang pilot section of the Shanghai Suzhou Wuxi Changzhou intercity railway of China Railway Tenth Bureau officially started substantive construction. With the smooth progress of the first single axis mixing pile in the temporary repair wheel shed and the first pipe pile test pile in the traction substation, the project construction has been comprehensively accelerated. This section starts from Taicang Station in the north and ends at the border between Jiangsu and Shanghai provinces, seamlessly connecting with the northern extension of the Shanghai Jiamin Line, with a designed speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
