[Denmark's 39 billion offshore wind power project approved] The European Commission has approved a 5 billion euro national aid plan for Denmark to support two major offshore wind power projects, Hessel ø and North Sea I Mid, with a total installed capacity of 1.8GW and an annual power generation of 7.8TWh, accounting for 25% of Denmark's total electricity production.
