[The Chinese section of this cross-border railway has started construction] On May 14, 2026, the first prefabricated T-beam was successfully erected on the Chinese section of the China Mongolia Ganqimaodu to Gashusu Sea Map Cross border Railway Project, marking the beginning of the beam erection construction phase for the second cross-border railway between China and Mongolia. This railway is another important cross-border channel between China and Mongolia after nearly 70 years. The Chinese section is invested by the National Energy Group and is planned to be completed by 2027, with an annual freight capacity of 30 million tons. At present, about 26% of the offline main project in China has been completed, and it is expected to complete all beam erection tasks by October this year.
