On June 15th, the Sany SCC8000A (SCC12000TM) crawler crane lifted the 3.8MW wind turbine nacelle on the Changli Luanhekou Wind Farm in Qinhuangdao, Hebei, and installed it steadily on a 162-meter-high tower. There are only 7 wind turbines of this height in Europe, and the second phase of the Changli Luanhekou Phase II wind power project is planned to build 42 units. After completion, it will set a new world record and become the world's largest wind farm.
The Changli Luanhekou Phase II wind power project has an installed capacity of 150 MW, using the low wind speed high tower technology of Vestas, Denmark. The hub height is 162 meters, the impeller diameter is 136 meters, and the annual output is about 450 million kWh. The national grid is sent to all parts of the country.
In the process of hoisting the fan, the distance between the nacelle and the boom continues to decrease due to the longer cabin. In order to ensure the safety of hoisting, this time SCC8000A adopts the method of side hoisting to raise the cabin to the installation height before turning. Fortunately, the wind power for hoisting is very ideal. It takes less than 30 minutes from the ground to the completion of the counterpart.
The 162-meter-high tower splicing and cabin installation are the first in China, and there is no experience to learn from. Liu Shiyue, the manager of the Shandong Bay Hoisting Wind Power Project, said that this is the highest in Asia and the hardest in Asia. The wind farm is surrounded by rice fields. In order to prevent flooding, the ground around the fan is about 1 meter higher than usual, which means that the installation of the fan is actually more than 162 meters. The project team was careful about the choice of lifting equipment. Wind power hoisting is a race against time. In addition to the performance of the operation, the convenience of disassembly and assembly transfer is the focus of the construction party. Li Feng, the project leader of Shandong Kairun Energy Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd., said that other cars can be used for this project, but the SCC8000A single-layer reinforced arm can be completed, while other models of the same tonnage require a double-layer arm.
