History is always advancing, and the world can't go back to the past. Every choice we make and every action we take today will determine the future of the world. We need to solve the four major issues facing this era.

First, strengthen macroeconomic policy coordination and jointly promote strong, sustainable, balanced and inclusive growth of the world economy. Mankind is suffering from the most serious economic recession since the end of the Second World War. For the first time in history, all major economic sectors are suffering heavy losses at the same time. The operation of global industrial chain and supply chain is hindered, and trade and investment activities continue to be depressed. Countries have introduced trillions of dollars of economic aid measures, but the world economic recovery momentum is still very unstable, and the prospects are very uncertain. We should not only grasp the present, coordinate epidemic prevention and control and economic development, strengthen macroeconomic policy support, and promote the world economy to get out of the shadow of crisis as soon as possible, but also look to the future, and be determined to promote the transformation of world economic power, mode, and structural adjustment, so as to put the world economy on the track of long-term healthy and stable development.

Second, we should abandon ideological prejudice and work together on the road of peaceful coexistence and mutual benefit. There are no two identical leaves in the world, and there are no identical historical, cultural and social systems. Each country's history, culture and social system has its own merits, and there is no distinction between high and low. The key lies in whether it conforms to its national conditions, whether it can win the support and support of the people, whether it can bring about political stability, social progress and improvement of people's livelihood, and whether it can contribute to the cause of human progress. The majority of developing countries generally expect to obtain more development resources and space, and demand more representation and voice in global economic governance. Fourth, work together to meet global challenges and jointly create a better future for mankind. Novel coronavirus pneumonia is a public health emergency that will never be the last in the era of economic globalization. Global public health governance needs to be strengthened. The earth is the only home for human survival. Increasing efforts to deal with climate change and promoting sustainable development are related to the future of mankind. All the global problems facing mankind can not be solved by any country alone. We must carry out global action, global response and global cooperation.

——We should adhere to openness and inclusiveness, and not close and exclusive. The essence of multilateralism is international affairs, which are discussed by all, and the future and destiny of the world are jointly controlled by all countries. In the international arena, engaging in "small circles" and "new cold war", repelling, threatening and intimidating others, and always engaging in decoupling, disconnection and sanctions, artificially isolating or even isolating each other can only push the world towards division or even confrontation. A divided world cannot cope with the common challenges facing mankind, and confrontation will lead mankind to a dead end. On this issue, mankind has paid a heavy price. We must never follow the same old road.

——We should uphold the concept of a community of shared future for mankind, adhere to the common values of peace, development, fairness, justice, democracy and freedom for all mankind, get rid of ideological bias, maximize the openness and inclusiveness of cooperation mechanisms, ideas and policies, and jointly safeguard world peace and stability. It is necessary to build an open world economy, firmly safeguard the multilateral trading system, and do not engage in discriminatory and exclusive standards, rules and systems, or high wall barriers separating trade, investment and technology. ——We should adhere to the international law as the basis, and do not pursue egotism. Chinese ancients said: "the law, the end of governance also." The differences in history, culture and social systems of different countries are not the reason for confrontation, but the motive force for cooperation. We should respect and tolerate differences, not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, and resolve differences through consultation and dialogue. History and reality have repeatedly told us that in today's world, if we take the wrong path of confrontation, whether it is a cold war, a hot war, a trade war, or a science and technology war, we will ultimately harm the interests of all countries and sacrifice the well-being of the people.

We should abandon the Cold War mentality and the old idea of zero sum game, adhere to mutual respect and understanding, and enhance political mutual trust through strategic communication. We should abide by the concept of mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation, reject the narrow policy of beggar thy neighbor and selfishness, abandon the one-sided practice of monopolizing development advantages, protect the equal development rights of all countries, and promote common development and prosperity. ——China will continue to actively participate in international anti epidemic cooperation. Fighting the epidemic is the most urgent task facing the international community. We should deepen unity and cooperation, strengthen information sharing and joint prevention and control, and resolutely win the global epidemic war. In particular, we need to strengthen cooperation in vaccine research and development, production and distribution, so that vaccines can truly become public products that people of all countries can use and afford. So far, China has provided anti epidemic assistance to more than 150 countries and 13 international organizations, and sent 36 medical expert groups to countries in need to actively support and participate in international cooperation on vaccines. Scientific and technological innovation is an important engine for the development of human society, a powerful weapon to deal with many global challenges, and the only way for China to build a new development pattern and achieve high-quality development. China will increase investment in science and technology, pay close attention to the construction of innovation system, accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into real productive forces, strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights, and promote the realization of connotative growth driven by innovation. Scientific and technological achievements should benefit all mankind, and should not be used as a means to limit or curb the development of other countries.
