"Active" closure method
Generally, the bridge adopts a relatively "passive" closing method, that is, keeping the beams at both ends of the closing section in place, cutting appropriate beams according to the length of the closing section, and welding on both sides, which is greatly affected by the environmental temperature. .

The closure of the Bream Island Yangtze River Bridge is an "active" closure method that can adapt to all-weather construction. "Active" closing is to open the beams on both sides of the closing section. High linear control requirements
The bridge is a high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Regardless of operational safety and driving comfort, the requirements for the control of the bridge alignment are very high. At the same time, the bridge has a light constant load in the first phase and a constant load in the second phase, which increases the difficulty of line control.

During the construction process, the builders of China Railway Bridge Bureau adopted a series of linear control measures, including lengthening the cable anchor cup, steel beam "1+5" matching manufacturing, steel beam compression compensation, temperature field monitoring, line type and cable force For monitoring, system stiffness testing in typical phases, etc., the self-developed nonlinear spatial finite element calculation software is used to monitor the construction process in real time, ensuring the design line after completion of the bridge.
Synchronous construction control is difficult
In order to ensure the overall construction period, the construction team carried out the bridge deck ancillary engineering operations during the cantilever construction phase of the bridge; for the main span closure, active closure measures adapted to all-weather construction were adopted. The longitudinal movement of the beam body achieved zero error closure. The weight of the moving beam is about 83,000 tons, which speeds up the progress while closing the high-precision dragon, and gains valuable time for the cross-cable hanging and adjustment construction after the closing.
Tight construction period
There are 63 sections of steel box girder for the main channel of the South Branch, with a total weight of about 33,000 tons. The standard section is 18 meters long and weighs 540 tons. It uses a 650-ton girder crane cantilever. Affected by the 2020 new crown pneumonia epidemic and floods, the construction period is extremely tight. To this end, the China Railway Bridge Bureau adopted measures such as "tower column-steel beam synchronization", "steel beam-deck auxiliary synchronization" and other measures during the construction process to realize the safe cross construction of multiple work surfaces and save nearly 6 months of key lines. The construction period ensures that the bridge closes on time.

The Anqing-Jiujiang Railway is an important part of the Beijing-Kowloon High-speed Passenger Transport Corridor and the Express Passenger Transport Corridor along the Yangtze River.
