From June 8 to 11, 2021, the second China-CEEC Expo and International Consumer Goods Expo will be held in Ningbo. President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the 2nd China-CEEC Expo. Leaders of relevant state departments, leaders of Zhejiang Province and Ningbo City, envoys of Central and Eastern European countries to China, heads of relevant departments of Zhejiang Province, domestic and foreign guests and business representatives attended the opening ceremony. China Energy Construction’s Deputy General Manager Yu Gang, and Gezhouba International’s General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Liu Huailiang attended the opening ceremony of the main forum and other series of activities.

The China-CEEC Expo is the only national-level mechanism exhibition for Central and Eastern Europe, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. With the theme of “Building a New Pattern and Sharing New Opportunities”, this year’s expo focused on the mutual promotion of internal and external circulation, and the integration of online and offline development. It set up an exhibition with a total area of 200,000 square meters to deepen trade and investment with Central and Eastern European , Humanities and other aspects of exchanges and cooperation.

On June 8, Liu Huailiang participated in the "Sixth China-CEEC Joint Chamber of Commerce" and held discussions and exchanges with more than 500 representatives from government departments, diplomatic envoys, business associations and enterprises from China and Central and Eastern European countries. The conference organized 68 Central and Eastern European companies to conduct docking negotiations with nearly 200 Chinese companies. On June 9, Liu Huailiang participated in the "Sixth China-CEEC Investment Cooperation Fair" and gave a keynote speech entitled "Strengthening Cooperation in Infrastructure and Promoting Sustainable and Mutually Beneficial Development", and introduced Energy China to the guests at the meeting. The overall situation of Gezhouba Group's overseas business, shared thoughts and suggestions on strengthening infrastructure cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries.
