Lushan Station is located in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, which enjoys the reputation of "the mouth of three rivers and the thoroughfare of seven provinces". In order to meet the needs of multi-directional transportation capacity and improve the quality of transportation services, since September 2020, Lushan Station will carry out station building expansion and reconstruction, and will be constructed in two phases.

The construction area of the west station building of Lushan Station has been expanded from the original 4,000 square meters to nearly 60,000 square meters, and the station scale has been expanded to 8 stations and 25 lines, which is the second case in the country. The main body of the "top-in, top-out" high-speed railway station has been completed, and the interior decoration is also coming to an end. It is planned to be put into use at the end of April 2022. The east station building will be demolished and built after the west station building is put into use. It is expected to be fully completed in July 2024. Done.

The station is designed with the concept of "mountain shadow and water language, integration of nine rivers", reflecting the rich local landscape and human history. The station building of Lushan Station takes "Xiuxiu Lushan" as the design prototype, transforming the shape of the mountain and the language of water into a concise and lively architectural language, interpreting the beauty of the mountain, the agility of the water, and the elegance of the cloud, outlining the "horizontal view of a ridge". The mountain shape of "side into peaks", combined with soft curves, highlights the rhythm of "the convergence of many waters".
As the first waterfall-like streamline space structure composed of multiple hyperboloids in China, the Lushan Station Canopy has a span of 36 meters and a height difference of 21 meters.

During the construction process, the technicians used the three-dimensional precise positioning method in the curved space, and used technologies such as BIM virtual modeling to control the installation accuracy of the curved keel and the hyperboloid aluminum plate within the error range of 0.5 mm.
The traffic organization of Lushan Station is based on the traffic framework of the surrounding cities, and various traffic modes are seamlessly connected. The existing entry tunnels have been changed to social corridors, and the exit passages have been changed to luggage tunnels. Passengers can exit the station through overpasses on the north and south sides.
The newly built west station building of Lushan Station is equipped with transfer areas and commercial areas. After the renovation of Lushan Station is completed, it will become one of the largest high-speed railway stations in Jiangxi Province.Editor/Ma Xue
