It is understood that Anhui Shitai pumped storage power station project is located in Shitai County Xianyu Town, Dingxiang town, by Anhui Shitai pumped storage Co., LTD. Investment construction. The total dynamic investment of the project is 7.894.6 billion yuan, with a total installed capacity of 1.2 million kW. Four reversible hydro-generator sets with a single capacity of 300,000 kW are installed, which is a pure pumped storage power station for daily regulation. The power station hub project is mainly composed of upper reservoir, lower reservoir, water transmission system, underground workshop and ground switch station.

This project is the largest single investment project since the establishment of Shitai County, is approved by the National Energy Administration Anhui Power grid 2025 level annual pumped storage planning adjustment recommended site, and has been included in the "Medium and Long Term Pumped Storage Development Plan" 14 key implementation project.

After completion, the power station will mainly supply power to Anhui power grid and undertake tasks such as peak regulating, valley filling, energy storage, frequency modulation, phase modulation and emergency backup for Anhui power grid, which is of great significance for realizing the goal of "double carbon", promoting high-quality green development of Shitai and promoting common prosperity.
