The second phase of the Lagos Light Rail Blue Line in Nigeria has a total length of about 14 kilometers, double-track track laying, 6 new stations, and a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. From Maitu Station of the first phase of the light rail blue line, along the Badagree Expressway to the Okokomoko Depot. After the completion of the project, the first and second phases of the Lagos Light Rail Blue Line will be fully operational, connecting the economic center of Lagos State and the suburban residential areas. It is estimated that the daily passenger traffic will reach 300,000 people. It will increase to 500,000 people, which will greatly relieve the traffic pressure in Lagos State and enhance the vitality and sustainable development of the local economy.

Recently, CCECC and the Kaduna State Government of Nigeria signed a contract for the 48-kilometer road project in the west section of the third ring road in Duna, Nigeria. Kaduna State Governor Rufayi, Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria Cui Jianchun, CCECC General Manager Chen Sichang and Deputy General Manager Jiang Yigao attended the signing ceremony.

The design speed of the project is 100 kilometers per hour, and it is two-way four-lane. After the completion of the project, it will greatly reduce the traffic pressure in the urban area, further attract investment, enhance the vitality of the local economy, and promote the sustainable development of Kaduna.
At the ceremony, Governor Rufai praised CCECC for its great contribution to promoting the economic development of Kaduna State, and looked forward to expanding more cooperation in new fields. Ambassador Cui Jianchun affirmed CCECC's contribution to the promotion of China-Nigeria cooperation, saying that CCECC has built many livelihood projects in the 42 years since it entered the Nigerian market and has become a well-known local brand.
