[CREC small diameter hard rock excavation machine Longrun is offline] On August 8, 2023, the world water diversion project's minimum diameter single shield TBM "Longrun" (CREC 1325), jointly developed by CREC Tunnel Bureau and CREC Equipment, was successfully launched in Deyang, Sichuan. The equipment will be applied to the Qimashan Tunnel project of the Dali construction section of the Dianzhong Water Diversion Phase II supporting project. The second phase of the Dianzhong Water Diversion Project is to divert high-quality water from the relatively abundant Jinsha River mainstream in the snowy plateau to the central Yunnan region, alleviate the contradiction between production and living water shortage in the central Yunnan region, improve the ecological and water environment conditions of rivers and lakes in the region, and have significant significance for the sustainable development of the social and economic development of Yunnan Province. The "Longrun" single shield TBM has an excavation diameter of 4.6 meters and a total length of 480 meters. It is equipped with multiple innovative technologies and has characteristics such as keen flexibility and continuous excavation, providing strong guarantees for project safety, high-quality, and efficient excavation. • [Malaysia is actively building a logistics hub in Southeast Asia]
  • The Malaysian government has developed short - and long-term strategies aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of the country's major ports, namely Port Klang and Tanjong Palapas. Malaysian Transport Minister Lok Siu-fook said the strategy covers increasing port capacity, improving efficiency and productivity, and transforming to a low-carbon green port. In recent years, Malaysia has vigorously developed its port economy through a number of initiatives such as port expansion, port digitization and the establishment of free trade zones, and is committed to becoming a logistics hub in Southeast Asia. With the deepening of the Belt and Road Initiative, China and Malaysia have deepened port cooperation and further upgraded the level of port infrastructure construction and operation in Malaysia. At present, the Belt and Road cooperation between China and Malaysia has formed a pattern of the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park in the East, the Kuantan Port "One Park and one port", and the Port Klang in the west through the East Coast Rail line.
