On March 17, 2024, the People's Government of Shache County in Kashgar Prefecture and Beijing Yiyuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony in Shache County, marking the official landing of the first phase of the Xinjiang Yiyuan Automobile Industry Park project in Shache County.

The total investment of the Xinjiang Yiyuan Automobile Industry Park project is over 10 billion yuan. It will build a large-scale automobile factory in stages, establish a hydrogen energy and automobile industry research institute, create a global and intelligent automobile production and sales center centered in Xinjiang, radiating to Central Asia and West Asia, promote the comprehensive expansion of China's automobile supply chain, and drive the development of intelligent and new energy automobile industry clusters in Xinjiang.

In recent years, the automobile consumption market in Xinjiang, especially in southern Xinjiang, has continued to be hot. Xinjiang has continuously optimized the port business environment, and automobile export enterprises in the comprehensive bonded zone can enjoy preferential policies such as early tax refunds and exemption of storage fees. The pace of domestic automobiles going out is more relaxed.

In 2023, Xinjiang ports will export 568000 commercial vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 407.6%, including 29 domestic automobile brands, which are mainly sold to Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other countries jointly building the the Belt and Road.

The landing of the Xinjiang Yiyuan Automobile Industry Park project will further stimulate employment in Shache County, improve local industrial output value, increase local taxes, and is a specific measure to fully, accurately, and comprehensively implement the Party's governance strategy in the new era and promote high-quality development in southern Xinjiang.
