On March 28, Tongchuan City of Shaanxi Province held a site observation and promotion meeting for key water conservancy construction projects in the first quarter of 2024 in Jiaochangping village, Yaoqu Town, Yaozhou District. In the first quarter, Tongchuan City has started the construction of 27 key water conservancy projects, of which 9 are newly started and 18 are continued, achieving a steady start and a good start for the construction of water conservancy projects.

Since the beginning of this year, Tongchuan Municipal Water Bureau has earnestly implemented the arrangement and deployment requirements for the construction of high-quality provincial and municipal projects, adhered to the construction of water conservancy projects as a "leader" project, implemented list management, promoted the special class, established the account by project, listed the "responsibility list", "schedule" and "road map", and pressed the project construction progress. The city's water system plans to implement 58 key water conservancy projects in six categories throughout the year (including 40 new projects and 18 continued projects), with a total investment of 2.309 billion yuan, and an annual investment of 598 million yuan in water conservancy construction. Since the first quarter, a total of 340 million yuan has been secured for central and provincial water conservancy construction funds, 27 key water conservancy projects have been organized, and 4 projects have begun to issue additional government bonds.

During the implementation of the project, Tongchuan Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau strictly checked the quality of the project before the start of construction, inspection of the construction process, the quality of incoming materials, the completion inspection, and the behavior of the market subject "five gates", coordinated the quality, progress and safety, and worked hard to build the city's water conservancy projects into high-quality projects, livelihood projects and assured projects with excellent quality, mass satisfaction, and historical testing. Focusing on the annual targets and tasks, speed up the construction of key water conservancy projects such as the double-line water supply project from Taoqupo Reservoir to Huangbao Water Purification Plant, the Dianzihe Reservoir in Yaozhou District, and the demonstration project of ecological protection and restoration and environmental pollution control in the Yellow River Basin, which is funded by the World Bank. Continue to promote the early progress of key water conservancy projects such as Leijiagou Reservoir water supply project, Leiyuan Reservoir in Yijun County, Sunjia River Reservoir in Wangyi District and Longtan Irrigation Area, and actively cooperate with the early work of Dongzhuang Reservoir North line water supply project to ensure that the project is completed on schedule and bring benefits into play as soon as possible.
