In this ever-changing era, the development of clean energy has become a global consensus, and the photovoltaic industry, as one of the leaders, is increasingly showing its huge potential and value. Recently, Guodian Power, a subsidiary of National Energy Group, received good news that it successfully won the bidding for a high-profile 100,000 kW floating photovoltaic power plant project in Kalangkades, Indonesia, becoming the first Chinese-owned company to successfully win the bid for a centralized photovoltaic independent power producer (IPP) in Indonesia. This important milestone not only highlights the advanced nature and competitiveness of China's photovoltaic technology, but also paints a new blueprint for energy cooperation between China and Indonesia.

The photovoltaic power plant project is located above the Kalangkades Dam in the picturesque city of Malang, East Java province of Indonesia, and is a typical green energy project. Its design concept and construction method reflect the perfect combination of environmental protection and innovation, the photovoltaic panels installed on the floating platform, not only effectively use the vast water surface of the dam, but also avoid occupying valuable land resources.

It is estimated that after the project is put into operation, it will be able to provide up to 212 million KWH of clean electricity for Indonesia every year, which will not only greatly alleviate the contradiction between local power supply and demand in Indonesia, but also inject new vitality into Indonesia's economic development. At the same time, the project will effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 168,300 tons, contributing to Indonesia's carbon neutrality goal.

It is worth mentioning that in the process of project implementation, the national energy group Guodian Electric Power will actively promote the localized application of photovoltaic technology, train local photovoltaic talents in Indonesia, and provide strong support for Indonesia's energy transformation and sustainable development.

The bid not only reflects the strong strength of Chinese enterprises in the photovoltaic field, but also marks the cooperation between China and Indonesia in the energy field has reached a new level. In the future, the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation, jointly promote the development of green energy, and contribute more wisdom and strength to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
