April 7, spring is full, Guangzhou Huadu District ushered in another important historical moment. The Great Bay Area "Green Valley" Serafur project was officially launched here, which is not only another milestone in the development of new energy industry in Huadu District, but also an important layout of the green energy field in the Greater Bay Area.

Previously, Huadu District has successfully introduced a number of new energy projects such as Gaojing 16GW photovoltaic assembly Industrial Park, Jinyuanyu New energy auto parts and cable R & D and production base, and Hexin new energy automobile aluminum die-casting parts. The landing and production of these projects have laid a solid foundation for the new energy industry cluster in Huadu District. The launch of the Serafu project has injected new vitality into this gathering area.

It is reported that the Serafu project will be constructed in two phases in Chini Town, Huadu District, with a total investment of no less than 6 billion yuan. The project will focus on the manufacturing of 10GW photovoltaic modules, which is an important development direction in the current new energy field. With the growing global demand for renewable energy, photovoltaic modules as the core components of solar power generation, its market prospects are broad. The landing of the Serafu project will further promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading in the field of new energy in Huadu District and even the Greater Bay Area.

According to the plan, the project will start trial production in December 2025, and is expected to reach full production in 2026. By then, the annual output value will be no less than 10 billion yuan, contributing huge tax revenue to the local economy. At the same time, the construction of the project will also promote the employment of about 2,600 people, create a large number of local employment opportunities, and improve the income level of residents.

More importantly, the construction of the Serafu project will further promote the development of new energy industry cluster in Huadu District. With more and more new energy projects settled, Huadu District will form a complete new energy industry chain, from raw material supply, parts manufacturing to system integration, operation and maintenance services, all links are closely linked, forming a strong industrial synergy.
