At 16:00 on April 9, 2024, a China-Europe train loaded with cars, mechanical and electrical products, and clothing left the country through the Khorgos Railway Port and headed for Malaszewicz, Poland. So far, in 2024, the number of China-Europe (Central Asia) trains passing through the Horgos and Alashankou railway ports on the Xinjiang Railway has exceeded 4,000, of which 2,031 have passed through the Horgos railway port and 2,014 have passed through the Alashankou railway port.

"With the steady increase in the number of China-Europe trains, the types of goods transported by the trains have gradually increased from agricultural and sideline products, industrial products, etc. to more than 200 types of cars, precision instruments, electronic originals, etc." Horgos Station Safety Production Command Center Dispatcher Yang Liye said that "Made in China" is moving from Xinjiang to the world. In the first quarter of this year, a total of 12,000 commercial vehicles were exported to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries on China-Europe (Central Asia) trains.

At present, Alashankou Station has built a series of infrastructure such as 94 wide standard gauge lines and a special railway line for 5 million tons of bulk grain. Not only that, Xinjiang Railway is promoting the construction of "Digital Ukraine Railway", "Digital Port" and "Paperless Customs Clearance" system projects, railway express and other services, which will help improve the efficiency of port inspection of China-Europe (Central Asia) trains.

“Customs clearance time for outbound China-Europe trains has now been reduced to five hours.” Yan Huapeng, director of the operation workshop of Alashankou Station, said that the number of trains received and departed from Alashankou Station in a single day has hit new highs, and 21 pairs of wide-gauge trains have been received and departed in a single day. A new record of 18 pairs of trains being received and departed in a single day.

Up to now, there have been a total of 80 train lines passing through the Horgos Railway Port, which can reach 18 countries, 45 cities and regions overseas; there have been a total of 118 train lines passing through the Alashankou Railway Port, reaching 21 overseas countries. countries and regions.
