The sun shines on the ground in Pinglu district of Shuozhou, Shanxi Province on April 11, when a grand groundbreaking ceremony was held here. The 390 MW photovoltaic power generation project, a large-scale new energy project, officially opened the prelude to construction. The leaders of Pinglu District Government of Shuozhou City, as well as the project owners, supervisors, the relevant responsible persons and employees of the construction units gathered together to witness this exciting moment.

The total area of the project has reached an astonishing 15,666 acres, showing Shuozhou Pinglu District's determination and strength in the development of new energy. The project plans to use 22 2 MW PV arrays and 110 3.15 MW PV arrays, with a total DC side capacity of up to 470 MW. To meet the power needs of the project, a new 220 kV booster station will also be built, and the power will be sent to the 220 kV substation at the head of the water through a 220 kV line. This series of measures will undoubtedly inject a strong impetus into the new energy industry of Shuozhou Pinglu District.

The participating units said at the groundbreaking ceremony that they will strictly abide by national and industry norms and standards to ensure the construction safety and quality of the project. At the same time, they will also take a number of measures to promote the project progress, and strive to make Shuozhou Pinglu District 390 MW photovoltaic project to achieve full capacity grid connection as soon as possible. This is not only a responsibility for the project itself, but also a contribution to the transformation and development of Shuozhou's energy system.

The construction of this project will not only bring considerable annual power generation to the local area, which is expected to exceed 720 million KWH, providing stable power support for economic development. More importantly, it will help promote the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system in Shuozhou City, and make positive contributions to the realization of green development and sustainable development goals.

With the successful completion of the groundbreaking ceremony, Shuozhou Pinglu District 390 MW photovoltaic power generation project officially entered the construction stage.
