Recently, the Yunxi section of the Shiwu North Expressway project has made significant progress and has officially entered the asphalt pavement laying stage, making every effort to sprint towards the goal of completion within the year.
That morning, with the roar of machinery, the asphalt paving work on the middle and lower test sections of the Guanyin Interchange main line began. The paving range extends from the main line bridge of Guanyin Interchange to the Yaziwan Tunnel, with a total length of 716 meters and a width of 11 meters, using a total of 1,100 cubic meters of asphalt mixture. The completion of this key node not only symbolizes the initial success of the second phase of the Shiwu North Expressway pavement project, but also lays a solid foundation for subsequent large-scale road paving work.
According to Zhu Yaoguang, chief engineer of the first bid project of Shiwu North Expressway, the start of surface layer construction means that the construction of Shiwu North Expressway has entered the final sprint stage. He revealed that the second phase of the Shiwu North pavement project will be fully launched this month and strive to complete all construction tasks before the end of September. Next, the construction party will strictly follow the deployment requirements of Hubei Communications Investment Yunchu Company, sort out the remaining projects one by one, and go all out to ensure the realization of the delivery target by the end of the year.
The total length of the Shiwu North Expressway is 34.8 kilometers, with a total investment of 7.45 billion yuan. Up to now, the project has completed a cumulative investment of 5.8 billion yuan, accounting for 77% of the total investment. With the road paving work in full swing, the Shiwu North Expressway is expected to be successfully completed and pass acceptance within the year, which will provide strong support for the improvement of the regional transportation network and economic development.Editor/Cheng Liting
