High-speed rail, as an important achievement of my country's independent innovation, is not only the embodiment of new productivity, but also a symbol of leading the world. In recent years, my country's high-speed rail has continued to pursue higher speeds and technological innovations, among which the CR450 technological innovation project is one of the best.

The CR450 project aims to achieve a leap in high-speed rail from 350 kilometers per hour to 400 kilometers per hour. This transformation is not only a numerical improvement, but also a huge technological breakthrough. Among them, the upgrade of the braking system is particularly critical. In order for the train to stop safely and stably when running at high speed, the braking system must be greatly improved. To this end, scientific researchers have conducted a large number of technical research to ensure that the trains can meet or exceed existing standards in terms of braking distance, noise, energy consumption and other indicators.

In addition to the braking system, key systems such as traction power, network control, and safety monitoring also have their own exclusive digital models. Through precise calculations, scientific researchers found the best solution to improve the performance of the train, which is to increase the train's physical strength and reduce its weight. This innovation enables the traction power of the CR450 EMU to reach 11,000 kilowatts, which is nearly 15% higher than the CR400. At the same time, the weight of the car body has been reduced by 12%, and the running resistance and energy consumption indicators have also been reduced by 20% each.

Since its launch, the CR450 technological innovation project has achieved a number of technological breakthroughs and experimental results. Among them, the EMU prototype will be rolled off the assembly line within the year, marking another major breakthrough in my country's high-speed rail technology field. The widespread application of lightweight new materials not only improves the performance of trains, but also drives the upgrading of the high-speed rail industry chain.

The rapid development of high-speed rail not only brings about the reconstruction of time and space distance, but also promotes the vigorous development of related industries. An Fuxing EMU consists of hundreds of thousands of parts and involves many technical fields. The Railway Science and Technology Innovation Alliance led by China Railway Group has achieved in-depth integration of industry, academia and research, and promoted the continuous innovation and development of high-speed rail technology.

Today, China's high-speed rail has formed the world's largest operating network, with a domestic operating mileage of more than 45,000 kilometers, and Fuxing EMUs reaching 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country. Technological innovation makes high-speed rail run faster and faster, making our travel more convenient and efficient.
