After more than 300 days of intensive construction, on the morning of April 9, 2024, the concrete structure of the newly built Shuozhou East Railway Station building of Jidayuan Railway Station Building 2, which was constructed by China Railway Construction Group, was fully completed, marking the completion of the main structure of the station building and laying a solid foundation for the scheduled completion of the station building.

As the only city-level station building among the five newly built stations in the Shanxi section of Hohhot to Nanning Channel of the national medium and long-term "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network, Shuozhou East Station is located in the territory of Jiazhuang Township, Shuocheng District, with a construction area of 24,998.48 square meters and a linear distance of 14.5 kilometers from the city center. It has 6 departure lines and 3 stations and 7 lines. The peak passenger capacity is 1500 per hour.

The entire project is expected to complete all construction tasks by the end of October, and Shuozhou East Station is expected to be fully operational by the end of this year.

In order to build the boutique station house, the project department of China Railway Construction Engineering Group uses BIM and intelligent site management technology to model the overall construction of the station house. Through three-dimensional and visual approaches, the "error and leakage" inspection and professional and technical information are carried out in advance to realize the intelligent management of the construction site. Moreover, in the construction, multiple difficulties such as cross operation, narrow site and proximity to business lines were overcome, and problems such as deep foundation pit, high support mold and large-span prestressing were solved, which created a good foundation for the station building to be completed on schedule.
