In order to fully implement the heating project deployment requirements of the autonomous region party committee and government, Hohhot City conducted in-depth investigations and comprehensively investigated the problems existing in heat sources, heat networks, heat enterprises, and heat users. On this basis, the municipal government decided to expand heat source protection, connect the heating pipe network, standardize industry development, and improve service quality to promote the high-quality development of the heating industry.
In terms of hardware construction, Hohhot City actively promotes the updating and renovation of heating facilities. On April 15, 2024, the city started construction of multiple projects including a 31.1-kilometer primary pipe network, a 350-kilometer secondary pipe network and 40 heat exchange stations, and plans to start other projects in May to ensure that by the end of September All completed before. These modifications will effectively improve the efficiency and stability of the heating system.
In terms of heat source protection, Hohhot City is actively building a thermoelectric + emergency heat source system. The Datang Tuo Electric Heat Source Inlet Project and the Jinshan Phase II Heat Source Injection Project will add additional heating capacity, bringing the proportion of combined heat and power heating area in the main urban area to 81%. At the same time, some coal-fired heating boilers will be retained as emergency peak-shaving heat sources to improve heating support capabilities in extremely cold weather.
In addition, Hohhot City is also committed to building a multi-source and one-network heating pipe network. Through the construction of the urban east ring network and the renovation of the old primary heating pipe network, the interconnection of the four major heat sources has been achieved, and the structure of the heating ring network has been optimized and upgraded. In terms of the secondary network, we have completed the renovation of the old secondary heating pipe network, heat exchange stations and large series-connected areas of the pipe network to completely solve the problem of uneven heating. At the same time, through energy-saving renovation of buildings, the phenomenon of indoor air leakage is reduced.
In order to further improve heating management efficiency and service levels, Hohhot City has built a smart management heating system.
