On April 23, 2024, good news came from Guiyang City. The high-profile groundbreaking ceremony for the first batch of allotment-type affordable housing projects was held grandly in Baiyun District. This initiative aims to better solve the housing problems faced by urban working-income groups and marks a solid step taken by Guiyang City in the field of housing security.

Based on an in-depth and detailed preliminary investigation, Guiyang City has formulated an ambitious housing security plan: in the next five years, up to 10,000 units of allotment-type affordable housing will be built, and the total investment is expected to reach approximately 6.5 billion yuan. In 2024, Guiyang City will take the lead in launching the first batch of five projects, building a total of 3,600 affordable housing units, with an investment scale of approximately 2.3 billion yuan. Currently, construction of three projects in Sanma Area of Yunyan District, Yunxinyuan of Baiyun District and the east side of Jiaxiu South Road in Huaxi District has started, and the remaining two projects will also be launched in the second quarter.

Among them, the Yunxinyuan affordable housing project in Baiyun District is particularly eye-catching. The project is located on the west side of Guanyun Avenue in Baiyun District and on the north side of Binyang Avenue in Guanshan Lake. It plans to build a total of 2,375 residential units. The first batch of 615 housing units is expected to be delivered by the end of 2026, providing a warm and comfortable living environment for many families. As the first placement-type affordable housing project in Baiyun District, the project plans to officially start the construction of the main foundation and main body in early June, laying a solid foundation to ensure that the project is completed on time and with quality.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the construction of affordable housing projects, the Guiyang Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau actively planned and accelerated relevant procedures in the early stages of the project. On the basis of the implementation plan that has been issued, supporting policies and measures such as allotment management, closed operation, and construction standards have been further improved, forming a 1+N policy system that is in line with the actual situation of Guiyang City, and providing strong top-level institutional support for the construction of affordable housing. .
