Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony of Huadian Wenshui 100MW photovoltaic power generation project was held grandly at Wenyu River Reservoir, marking another solid step taken by Shanxi Province in the field of green energy. The total investment of the project is up to 480 million yuan, with a planned construction capacity of 100MW, and it is planned to achieve full capacity grid connection by the end of this year.

It is predicted that after the completion of the project, the average annual power generation is expected to reach 158.5 million kWh within the full life operation period of 25 years. This considerable power generation can not only replace approximately 53,700 tons of standard coal, but also reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 134,400 tons, effectively supplementing the supply of clean energy in Shanxi Province and even the country.
