CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Phase I 12.83MW roof distributed photovoltaic project was self-invested by CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute, using high efficiency ArTUS single crystal components. Following the principle of maximization of system efficiency, adhering to the planning concept of "accurate absorption and optimized layout", taking into account factors such as shadow shading, drainage and maintenance, more than 10,000 pieces of high-efficiency Artic 6W-MS single-crystal components have been installed in several roof areas of CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute, with a total installed system capacity of 12.83MW. Rows of photovoltaic modules on the roof convert natural sunlight into a steady stream of green energy, adding low-carbon green to the national business card of CRRC, and creating a zero-carbon transportation "Chinese model"!

The project adopts the operation mode of "self-use, surplus electricity online". According to the estimation of local sunshine conditions in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, the photovoltaic system will continue to supply green and clean energy for Zhuzhou CRRC within 25 years of operation. It is expected that the first year's power generation will reach 11.59 million KWH, and the cumulative power generation in 25 years will reach 27.043 million KWH, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 236,000 tons and planting 7.578 million trees.
