On May 3, 2024, the Jizou Expressway project construction site was in full swing. Since the project started, it has won widespread praise from all walks of life for its amazing progress and efficient working methods.

Jizou Expressway, a traffic artery with a total length of 61.99 kilometers, will become an important link connecting the G3 Beijing-Taiwan Expressway and the S33 Jixu Expressway. It adopts a two-way four-lane design with a design speed of up to 120 kilometers per hour, indicating that it will become a fast and efficient traffic artery. The starting point of the project is located at the Yishan Interchange of the G3 Beijing-Taiwan Expressway, and extends all the way until it finally reaches 2.65 kilometers south of the S33 Jixu Expressway Airport Interchange, and is seamlessly connected to the S33 Expressway through the Jiaxiang East Hub Interchange.

Up to now, the construction of the Jizou Expressway project has made significant progress. As for the roadbed project, workers have completed 48.3% of the total project volume. This achievement marks that the roadbed part of the project has taken initial shape, laying a solid foundation for subsequent laying work. At the same time, the bridge and culvert project has also achieved impressive results, with a total of 53.7% of the total project volume completed. This data not only demonstrates the workers' superb technical level, but also indicates that the project will proceed smoothly as planned.

The construction of the Jizou Expressway will further improve the expressway network in Shandong Province, enhance the transportation connections between Jinan City, Zoucheng City and surrounding areas, and greatly improve the convenience and accessibility of regional transportation.
