Recently, the Three Gorges Energy Yu County Phase II 100,000-kilowatt photovoltaic composite power generation project has achieved full capacity grid-connected power generation, marking that the Three Gorges Energy Yu County photovoltaic project has full external power transmission capabilities.

The Three Gorges Energy Yu County Photovoltaic Project is located in Shangshe Town, Yu County. The project covers an area of approximately 7,744 acres, has a planned installed capacity of 200,000 kilowatts, and will be constructed in two phases. The first phase of the project is a 100,000-kilowatt + energy storage project. The construction content includes a photovoltaic field area, a 35-kilovolt collector line, a 220-kilovolt booster station project, and the supporting construction of a 220-kilovolt external transmission line project; the second phase is a 100,000-kilowatt The construction content of the photovoltaic composite power generation project is mainly the expansion project of the first phase.

In the photovoltaic field area, against the blue sky, rows of photovoltaic modules undulate with the terrain, like black ribbons, forming a magnificent landscape. The Three Gorges Energy Yu County photovoltaic project is a mountain photovoltaic project that adopts block power generation and centralized grid connection mode. During the construction process, due to the complex terrain of the project location, mostly rocky steep slopes, traditional construction methods were difficult to cope with and the construction was difficult. In order to ensure the safe and orderly construction of the project, the construction unit innovatively used equipment such as drones and monorail transport vehicles to improve construction efficiency and reduce labor costs and safety risks.

After the project is fully connected to the grid, it is estimated that the average annual power generation will be 350 million kilowatt-hours, saving about 100,000 tons of standard coal every year and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 280,000 tons, providing a strong guarantee for our city's power supply and peak summer.
