On May 9, 2024, Wang Zezheng, deputy general manager of China Chemical Construction Investment Group Co., LTD., led a team to visit Liaocheng to conduct in-depth docking exchanges on the whole green methanol industry chain project. The event was warmly welcomed and participated by Wang Gang, Vice mayor of Liaocheng City.

Wang Zezheng first elaborated the original idea and specific implementation steps of the green methanol whole industry chain project. He stressed that the realization of green and low-carbon is the core element of the pursuit of high-quality development, and this whole industry chain project not only includes the production of methanol, the promotion of methanol-powered vehicles, but also the implementation of multiple subdivisions such as new energy logistics. If the project can be successfully implemented, it will significantly reduce carbon emissions in a number of areas such as industrial emission reduction, agricultural sustainable development and logistics transportation, thus vigorously promoting Liaocheng to achieve the dual requirements of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.

Wang Gang warmly welcomed the arrival of Wang Zezheng and his delegation, and pointed out that Liaocheng is currently standing at an important threshold of the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the cultivation and growth of strategic emerging industries. He stressed that the industrial layout of China Chemical Construction Investment Group and Liaocheng's development blueprint coincide, so he is eager to deepen the cooperation between the two sides, work together to establish a special project team, accelerate the feasibility study of the project, and jointly promote the early implementation of the project, so as to inject strong momentum for Liaocheng to achieve green, low-carbon and high-quality development.

The whole green methanol industry chain project covers methanol preparation, storage, transportation, filling, trade and other links, and will form a commercial closed loop that can be replicated and promoted.
